In October of 2017, Articon started the work of pouring concrete for the floors at Glasir. The total floor area for the 6 floors was approx. 13,000 m².

In February of 2018, work started on the great concrete stairs, which is the main gathering place in the school. The stairs consist of 42 steps, the longest step being 22 metres long. The stairs begin on the 1st floor and end on the 3rd floor. The total surface area is approx. 1,400m².

Ramps have been made between steps in order to make the stairs wheelchair accessible. Sustainable construction was practised as much as possible during the making of the stairs. The challenge lay in the fact that each step is unique. Therefore, new concrete forms had to be made for each step and ramp. Each concrete form was used 3-6 times.
